We had to shave one of the FIV feral cats we rescued. Harley came to us with his 3 inch hair in huge knots all over his body. His tail was the only place that had no knots. He’s a fat cat and so his body shaved reminds me of a dog rather than a cat - although he is still beautiful. Take a look:
