These 4 feral kittens are growing by leaps and bounds. I really can’t call them feral any more — yes, their Mom still is — they are are not. They run to me when they hear me. Especially Rocket. We named him Rocket because he runs everywhere and is the first to do everything.

When my friend saw Poppy and the kittens, she said that the pictures make both the kittens and Poppy look bigger than they are. Poppy is so very small so the kittens seem bigger than they really are.

Here are some of the latest pictures:

Poppy Nursing - 21 days

As you can see by the picture of Rocket, his ears have finally opened up all the way. When they are born their ears are folder down. See the previous blog entries to see the ears of the kittens.

Their eyes are are no longer a solid-looking blue. They are starting to lighten up and we’ll be able to see what color their eyes will be in a couple more weeks.

More photos to come, so come back.

Lee here. Poppy is really funny when it comes to her kittens. She will rub up against me and rub noses, but if I go toward the room with her kittens, she runs and blocks the door. I wouldn’t hurt them. I just want to play with them. Lee out.
